November 22, 1963. After leaving the Book Depository at approximately 12:30 pm, Lee Harvey Oswald proceeds to his rooming house by bus and taxi. He arrives at approximately 1 pm and leaves a few minutes later. He shoots Officer J.D. Tippit, less than a mile away, at 1:16 pm.

Oswald is arrested in the Texas Theater at about 1:55 pm and is taken to the Dallas police headquarters. The officers bring him to the third floor offices of the homicide and robbery bureau.

After several line-ups, he is arraigned on the murder of Office Tippit at 7 pm. At 1:30 am, he is arraigned for the murder of President Kennedy.
