March 19, 1944: Lynda Bird Johnson is born.

Like many proud parents, Lady Bird used home movies to document her infant daughter’s early life.  In this video, we see newborn Lynda with various members of her extended family, including her aunt and grandmother. Make sure to watch around 5:00 for some very sweet shots of mother and daughter.

This video also has some great views of the gardens at the Johnsons’ new house on 30th Place. As always, there are lots of flowers!
